So here's the deal. Understand that I chose this over CyberpowerPC, which I've had 2 different laptops longevity has been pretty good on those, and the HP Omen Max 16 only because this gives you more value in your purchase for a 5080 and an Ultra 9 CPU. I had my worries however after testing it and even adding more storage... Thunderobot I give you props for your build quality but for God's Sake you don't need to put 11 screws and make them feel that are bolted down inside... Anyway I was able to add more storage which already had games on it, Battlefield 2042, Helldivers 2, X Plane 12, Starfield and I have to say..... This machine preforms! I've done benchmarks, couple hour sessions as close to MAX Graphics as I felt necessary, buttery smooth all around no lag or anything. The control center... It's a bit left to be desired yes you have dedicated buttons for modes which comes down to Light speed, faster and ludicrous speed... Lol and a dedicated button for max fan cool down which works really well! Fans can be loud but once you turn up the volume... (100%...) It kinda drowns it out without any crackling or anything. Speaking of volume the speakers aren't the worst but not the best if anything, possibly due to design, the sounds are muffled like I said not terrible but noticeable, depends on yourself. THE RGB keyboard it's alright it works however... Not sure what the issue seems to be but as far as custom different color keys I have not (yet) been able to properly change them. It shows on the screen but doesn't reflect on the board itself so that's kinda disappointing but not the end of the world.. :"( The screen.... Wow... Impressive for what it is now it's says 360hz but supposedly if you drop the resolution it will give 360hz (supposedly) but at full resolution it's 240hz which isn't bad as said the performance and clearity is smooth and beautiful could it be better sure but nothing it perfect but this to me it is. Battery life... Well I normally keep my laptops plugged in all the time as the dedicated power source so not much to say there however I am compelled to add that after a gaming session (1 hour or 2) I noticed the percentage when down and it was plugged in the whole time. Possibly because of my performance mode but it does seem to drain the battery even when plugged it but it does charge it right up after and charges throughout the session consistently, which I might add might not be a terrible thing, think of it as trickle charging I suppose, time will tell. And the says it for everything I've only had it a week and it's been a beast no hesitation no noticeable issues just a beafy gaming laptop that has more value than name brands will give you, there all alternatives people and this one is a suitable one. I hope this review helps cuz this company does not have a lot of video reviews out there or people actually going in depth so I hope this helps! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2026!Update, I noticed from some reviews that the laptop during gaming 50/50 chance it "crashes" or screen goes to black ... Do not be alarmed you have the "hardware- accelerator" on just turn that off it'll be fine, it's an issue with the 5080 not the laptop. Still preforms well even with it off

Actual amazing quality. Spec'd as ordered, performs as expected. Crazy nice laptop.I'm using mine for Game Development and some hard core gaming, and it meets all my expectations.
