5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Laptop – Perfect with My Scarlett Solo!
By Amazon Customer
I bought the NIMO 17.3" Gaming Laptop mainly for voice-over work, and wow, it’s been a game-changer. I use it with my Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen USB interface, and the setup just works. No lag, no weird driver issues, just clean, clear audio every time I hit record. I did swap the ram with 64 (32+32) GB. It had 16 GB (2 8Gb) boards.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very acceptable laptop for mild gaming demands and work related programs
By Hugh Janus
I wanted a “cheap” laptop with gaming capabilities. Decided on this one because the reviews were positive and also that it’s American made. Has decent performance. You’ll have to tweak settings it has a lot of bs protections and fluff that is unnecessary. Battery is acceptable for a laptop. I have mine tuned for performance on the charger and very power conservative on battery. Large screen with ok visuals. It will get your low end to medium jobs done simply. I went ahead with the 16gb ram option to keep cost as low as possible. It’s acceptable and will run many games and programs on low settings. Found two 16gb rams for $70 total and replaced the original single 16gb part. Runs much much much better. Will I be ok spending 165-250 total for two 32gb rams? No. Buy a better computer or pick up some used parts. I would not buy the 32gb or 64gb ram options of this computer I would purchase a different computer entirely. For under 750 it’s a pretty good deal for a businessman, student or casual not so serious gamer. Will not reliably play demanding games like CS2, marvel rivals, DCS, iL2 great battles etc. expect your computer to be sweatin like a hoe in church if you do.Will play older games like iL2 1946, older versions of MS flight simulator, European air war, counter strike source, day of defeat source, classic racing games like Grand Prix 2 etc. pretty flawlessly on high settings. Will do just fine as an on the go workstation. Supports external gpu if you have access to such a setup. Good construction very solid. I will say it is rather large of a laptop for a on the go workstation. Not going to be a comfortable work platform on an airplane or cramped space. Sitting in a coffee shop the lobby of a hotel or at the kitchen counter you’ll do just fine and enjoy the size.So far I enjoy it has nice features is well built looks cool and functions predictably and consistently. If your budget is under 750 go for it. If your budget is more buy a different option or computer.I will keep an eye on this company for future products

5.0 out of 5 stars Great computer! Speedy and sleek

This laptop is quick to set up and use, and it works seamlessly without lagging on games or apps that use lots of memory such as the Harry Potter game I play from steam. I am really satisfied with this purchase even though I was hesitant at first to buy a “no name brand” laptop

1.0 out of 5 stars Most likely came with malware

It worked decent for a little bit, its a low end laptop that will run basic games at minimum settings, however something is wrong with windows because it fully died within 2 weeks. Likely due to malware that came with the laptop and it wont go past bios now. First and last time buying a no name electronic.

4.0 out of 5 stars Review is for 18..5 inch model; not 15.7; good value for 18.5 model

I purchased two 18.5 inch model AX18, and it looks like my review is tied to a 15.6 inch model instead, as though perhaps I purchased two at a lower price point than intended? The value was outstanding for $400..00. My review is for the 18.5 inch model which is 11 x 17 by about 1 inches in total size. The huge trackpad gets in the way a bit, but it does work and is sensitive. It can be disabled. The very large screen is beautiful and true to color, and great for movies, albeit with weak and tinny speakers. The camera is really grainy, you will use your Logitec one that is much better in low light. The case is kind of twisty plastic, and keyboard has a kind of flimsy feel to it. However, it functions just fine.It is really quite fast. I am playing around with typical office apps, big spreadsheets and so far looks great. I will eventually attempt image and video editing. hoping this keeps up. A slightly rickety, fast, wonderful display old fashioned computer. I do find myself absently touching the screen as I’ve been so “touch screen” for the past few months, and no this is not a touch screen laptop. The power supply and plug are annoyingly “non standard”. 19V 2.1a output, the sorta cheapie 57 inch power cord and odd connector are a bit worrisome.
