5.0 out of 5 stars Good Budget Laptop
By Tiaa
The media could not be loaded. It’s Decent when it comes to gaming I was able to run games such as Apex, GTA, Fortnite, Minecraft, and the sims with no problem. It looks really nice and the graphics are really good honestly. The screen size is a good size in my opinion and I love the backlit keyboard. I will say if your downloading a game let that finish because I did have a problem with it running slow when it was downloading but afterwards when it was finished it went back to normal. It’s not bad at all for the price it is. This is a nice starter laptop honestly.

3.0 out of 5 stars Battery is a REAL problem.
By Stormy
I got this laptop as a cheaper in between as I do not have space for an actual PC set up right now. I saw 3 reviews mentioning the battery life and thought “oh it’s only 3 and charging it won’t be an issue” and decided to purchase it.It is a huge issue.I’m not a HUGE PC gamer to begin with but there are some games that are only PC or PlayStation available on steam I wanted to play. The laptop itself runs great with really no issue at all graphic wise and has not gotten very hot even without a cooling pad. However. Playing higher quality games, even on the lowest graphic settings, tank the battery SO bad.I was at a full 100%, unplugged the laptop, loaded a game and hit play, checked the battery and I had already dropped 4%. Within 20 minutes I had to shut it off. I attempted to play the same game at a later date while keeping it plugged in and the power cord got so hot it physically stopped working and I could SMELL it cooking. It was SO HOT I burned myself touching it. I tried a final attempt at playing unplugged and then plugging it in to charge as needed before the power cord overheated and it could not even charge fast enough to stop the battery drain even without a lowest graphics, low brightness, and energy efficient modes. The battery simply cannot hold up to higher graphic games like Othercide or Stray.Everything else is great, but the battery is a gigantic downside.

great laptop for the price. The 16GB RAM and 512GB ssd provide smooth performance and the 180° hinge is a nice touch. Windows 11 runs well, and the sleek Silver Gray design looks premium. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rocky setup, but end result was worth it

The media could not be loaded. When I first booted this laptop up, it presented me with a "defaultuser0" account that I didn't know the password to. I completely wiped this laptop's SSD and reinstalled Windows to play it safe, and after that it worked like a charm with regular setup. I did have to find drivers online for the touchpad afterward though.Getting at the SSD to do all of this was thankfully pretty easy, since the bottom panel was removable with a few tiny screws. I noticed that there is only a single slot for RAM in there, but it isn't soldered on so I was able to upgrade it with a 16 gig stick at least. The N97 is no gaming powerhouse but it plays some older titles still, and the laptop works great for work like emails and browsing the internet.
