DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY (3RD PARTY - IT'S NOT AMAZON) (if you ever think you'll need to return your product)I'll just start out by saying the laptop is a 4 Star review - it was a good laptop, it performed well, it's big, it's hefty, it's a beast, however the cooling performance and quality kind of lacked which is why I returned it. Out of the box it was hitting 100°+ on the CPU, no matter what high-powered cooler pad or MSI Center settings I tried, I could not get it to cool down at all which just isn't good for the computer in the long run, (maybe it was just a bad paste job on mine specifically) that thing is gonna melt itself in a matter of months at that rate. The screen was nice but didn't quite look as good as it should've tbh, the keyboard was mushy, I had sound problems through my headset (it's a very common thing most people with this laptop are dealing with as well), the back lighting feature is FORCED to only be changed/used through the Steelseries GG program which is just annoying, the sound quality of the speaker system was not good at all compared to my 6 year old Raider 10UG, and it's made of mostly cheap feeling plastic just not good at all for a $3k laptop, sorry MSI I love you guys but you kinda failed this generation.Now for the company, and yes this was mostly my fault for not checking their return policy beforehand but really, who charges almost $700 on a "restocking fee" that is just absolutely ridiculous, the laptop was perfectly fine and sent back in pristine perfect brand new condition still just didn't fit the bill of what I wanted but now I'm stuck with $700 on my credit card still for a laptop I don't even have anymore. Who does that?! Especially during the holidays, awesomesauce.
