I purchased this MSI laptop because I needed a powerful pc for the stem research and development I was conducting. The unit i selected was the Intel Ultra9 275HX cpu, Nvidia 5080 GPU and 64GB 5600mhz DDR5 memory and a 4TB Nvme SSD.This laptop is a real powerhouse, easily handling anything I throw at it. The build quality is very good. The 16 inch 2k screen with max 240 ms refresh rate is very crisp and clear and the colors are beautiful and bright. It comes with a 330 watt power supply. It also has a built in video camera with a slide to hide it when required. As others have commented, the 2 high capacity cooling fans do get loud during heavy computing but they do a very good job of keeping the laptop cool.I would highly recommend this laptop for anyone who needs a very powerful computer for either research or high end gaming use.

Unit showed up new with a defective battery. Would not maintain a charge while using the laptop while plugged in. 2-3 weeks reported repair time reported by MSI. Won't be buying MSI again.
