5.0 out of 5 stars so far I love it!
By riley
I bought this for work and personals use, and immediately fell in love! I got the 13.5".It's light but feels and looks sturdy, and the computer itself looks very professional. The battery holds up well unless I'm playing a strenuous game like Conan exiles, (that's expected because it's not a gaming laptop) but it runs the game great! I was almost discouraged to buy it because of a few bad reviews, but I'm so glad I did! I will update the review in a few weeks to tell how it's doing.(Update: I still love it!! It works amazing and it hold up really well!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Charger port stopped working BUT...
By Tori
So my charger port stopped working after a year and I was quoted $500 to repair it and my warranty wasn't applicable BUT it's okay because guess what? You can charge these with a regular shmegular usb c/ type c charger. Although if you decide to do this make sure the adapter/box that you're using is at least 65w so that it charges optimally and doesn't cause any long term issues. It's okay if it's a higher wattage because the device itself won't pull more power than it needs.Besides the whole charger debacle this is a wonderful device. I purchased a few weeks after I started taking college classes because the one I already had was too big and bulky. This one is slim and doesn't take up much space. I can fit it on a school desk to take notes and still have enough room for my tablet which I have my textbooks on. It is heavier than I expected but it's tolerable. The touch screen is super convenient. And do to it's smaller size it makes studying anywhere possible. Then when it comes time to take a break it's crisp speakers and quality graphics make movie breaks a dream. If it wasn't for the fact that you have 2 different charging options I would've told you not to buy it because the slim design makes it more complicated to take the device apart and put it back together if you do need repairs which make them pricier. Its also hard to get the parts themselves. But since the issue of the dead charger port isn't actually a problem I've fallen in love with this device all over again!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the actual RAM capacity? The specs list both '8GB RAM' in the title and '512 GB LPDDR5' in the detailed specs.
The laptop has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The '512 GB' listed in the detailed specs is an error; it refers to the SSD storage. The title's '8GB RAM' is correct, and the 'LPDDR5' in the specs confirms the memory type.
What is the exact processor model? The 'specs' section lists '4.4 GHz apple_ci5', which seems incorrect for a Microsoft laptop.
The processor is an Intel Core i5, as stated in the title and confirmed by the 'processor_brand' being Intel. The 'apple_ci5' in the raw specs is a data error. The laptop is built on the Intel Evo platform with a Core i5 CPU.
What is the aspect ratio of the screen and how does it affect usability?
The screen has a 3:2 aspect ratio with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels. This provides 18% more vertical screen space compared to standard 16:9 displays, which is beneficial for reducing scrolling when viewing documents, web pages, or code.
What type of USB/Thunderbolt ports does it have for connectivity?
It includes at least one Thunderbolt 4 port. This port supports connecting a 4K external monitor, charging the laptop, and high-speed data transfer for large files like videos.
Is the stated 18-hour battery life realistic for typical use, and what is the power source?
The 'up to 18 hours' is a manufacturer estimate under specific test conditions; real-world usage will vary based on tasks, screen brightness, and settings. The laptop is battery-powered with one included Lithium Ion battery, and it supports charging via its Thunderbolt 4 port.

4.0 out of 5 stars Review is for 18..5 inch model; not 15.7; good value for 18.5 model

I purchased two 18.5 inch model AX18, and it looks like my review is tied to a 15.6 inch model instead, as though perhaps I purchased two at a lower price point than intended? The value was outstanding for $400..00. My review is for the 18.5 inch model which is 11 x 17 by about 1 inches in total size. The huge trackpad gets in the way a bit, but it does work and is sensitive. It can be disabled. The very large screen is beautiful and true to color, and great for movies, albeit with weak and tinny speakers. The camera is really grainy, you will use your Logitec one that is much better in low light. The case is kind of twisty plastic, and keyboard has a kind of flimsy feel to it. However, it functions just fine.It is really quite fast. I am playing around with typical office apps, big spreadsheets and so far looks great. I will eventually attempt image and video editing. hoping this keeps up. A slightly rickety, fast, wonderful display old fashioned computer. I do find myself absently touching the screen as I’ve been so “touch screen” for the past few months, and no this is not a touch screen laptop. The power supply and plug are annoyingly “non standard”. 19V 2.1a output, the sorta cheapie 57 inch power cord and odd connector are a bit worrisome.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and Reliable!!

I recently bought the ACEMAGIC RX16 laptop and I’ve been really happy with it so far. It’s fast, super responsive, and handles everything I throw at it browsing, work tasks, and even gaming with no lag. As a gamer, I was surprised by how well it runs games, especially for a laptop with integrated graphics. The 16" screen is clear and vibrant, and the high refresh rate makes gameplay feel smooth. I also work in cybersecurity, and this laptop handles my tools, VMs, and scripts without any slowdown. The dual-fan cooling system does a great job keeping things cool during heavy use, and the backlit keyboard is a nice bonus for working at night. Overall, it's a solid choice for both performance and value, and I’d definitely recommend it for students, gamers, or professionals alike

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING ! ! !

So, in the past I have bought computers based more on price than features. I ended up with units that were 2 or more generations old before I opened the box. This time I bought based on specs first and price second. WOW !Incredibly fast to both retrieve and process data. (I don't do on-line games . . .) Wire sharp, photographic quality display. Lighted keys. O.k., it's missing a fingerprint reader. Boo Hoo ! Great specs, great speed and a pretty good price. What's not to like?
