If you need a discounted, lightweight, quality laptop with a ton of nice features, GET THIS. Before you read on, know that it would be very difficult to ever change out the battery, the bottom is not screwed in because it is all one piece. It should last a long time though. Mine had absolutely no wear on it, couldn't tell it was refurbished at all. The Pixelsense screen is amazing. Note that the dimentions are 3:2, which is a little taller than most other laptops, which are 4:3 or 16:9. This may be awkward for watching movies and such, but is perfect for schoolwork. It is crazy light and thin, the alcantara keyboard is my personal favorite. It doesn't ever feel like it gets greasy. The startup time is very quick, especially with Windows Hello. My favorite feature so far is the soft-closing, so it doesnt ever slam, even when you give it a bit of pressure. The battery-life is exactly what i wanted too. You won't regret getting this if you're looking for a quality school laptop, especially at this price range.

Arrived a day early with packaging similar to a brand new (not renewed) unit. I could find no blemishes or keyboard peculiarities which detracted from a brand-new computer experience.Pleasant surprise: came with a charging unit which I had not expected.Set up uses Cortina assistant, and since I already have a Microsoft account and a M/S 365 subscription, the set up was complete in 15 minutes, including WiFi, printer connection and apps that I had used w/prior laptop.For first time in my experience, no setup anxiety or hardware disappointments.
