This laptop is fantastic! The huge screen makes everything look stunning, whether I'm working or watching movies. It's incredibly fast and smooth, never lagging even with multiple apps open.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Everyday Laptop
By Andrew B.
I think this is a very good large laptop for the price. I am using this for being online, Office and things like that, not gaming. It functions well for that. The screen is bright and clear and apps function as I would expect. It seems slow when doing software updates but you do not have to do that all the time. I wish it had a backlit keyboard as that is very help in low light. Negatives are sort of 'cheap' feeling keys on the keyboard and especially the touchpad. As someone else said it is 'clunky'. You can feel the click but it doesn't respond unless you get it just right. It is also unnecessarily large. I use a mouse but if you primarily use the trackpad it would be annoying. Another negative is the Bluetooth is a bit glitchy for me and it loses the connection with the mouse when I use Phone Link app, so I have to turn it off and back on. People complain about battery life but it is a lower priced laptop with a huge screen so you have temper your expectations on that. Overall, I would recommend it if you are looking for a large, lower price laptop for everyday use.

great laptop for the price. The 16GB RAM and 512GB ssd provide smooth performance and the 180° hinge is a nice touch. Windows 11 runs well, and the sleek Silver Gray design looks premium. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rocky setup, but end result was worth it

The media could not be loaded. When I first booted this laptop up, it presented me with a "defaultuser0" account that I didn't know the password to. I completely wiped this laptop's SSD and reinstalled Windows to play it safe, and after that it worked like a charm with regular setup. I did have to find drivers online for the touchpad afterward though.Getting at the SSD to do all of this was thankfully pretty easy, since the bottom panel was removable with a few tiny screws. I noticed that there is only a single slot for RAM in there, but it isn't soldered on so I was able to upgrade it with a 16 gig stick at least. The N97 is no gaming powerhouse but it plays some older titles still, and the laptop works great for work like emails and browsing the internet.
