The notebook is not broken; however, Lenovo has refused to provide a full term warranty on this product. The stated warranty is supposed to be 12 months. I purchased it new from Amazon ordered on December 5th and received on December 9, 2025. It was sold by POLY MOLLY. When I checked on the Warranty with Lenovo it appears a warranty had already been issued in NIGERIA with a beginning date in August of 2025. Lenovo has refused to provide the 12 month warranty. Here is direct statement from Lenovo: "This serial number is rooted in Nigeria and the country of the invoice you provided as proof of purchase is United States of America" For us to update warranty dates, the country of manufacture and the country of the invoice must match." Lenovo suggested we contact the reseller, Poly Molly for assistance. This is bulls***. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED BUT MY SUGGESTION IS TO STAY AWAY FROM POLY MOLLY. SO POLY MOLLY IF YOU CAN HELP ME I WILL CHANGE MY REVIEW

I purchased this laptop as a Hanukkah gift for my 13 year old great niece. She loves it! It's the perfect size for her, and it's nice and light. Perfect for homework assignments, games and music! The price was great and I was able to get an extended warranty just in case something happens to it. Lenovo is a great brand!
