This item is refurbished and seems to have some problems with hardware. I have had the sound not work at all and also it gets stuck on mute now. Restarting and checking the hardware updates repaired this but it might randomly not make any sound still? this is of course very annoying when I am doing zoom for my work when, out of nowhere, the machine is muted and nothing can take it out of mute except restarting the computer!I am also very disappointed that a refurbished machine does not have the latest updates. I have purchased this assuming that the updates will be complete.This machine has a very strange plug that requires adaptor not included. This is worth considering with the price as I am having trouble matching this port but they range in price around $35 that is a tenth of the price of the full computer so I think it should have been included.Description was somewhat vague. I looked at the picture and thought it had a "yoga" style hinge to flip the display to tablet mode. It does not have that. All ports where not pictured so the side of the computer was a surprise upon arrival.The start menu search bar is failed in this version of windows and I am hoping the 2025 windows 11 fixes this but I am very disappointed that I have to manually find every app from the start menu because search crashes.Lenovo builds a good computer but I feel that the sales person and refurbishing tech may have fallen a little short of my expectations.I-5 is suitable speed for me however start menu functions are crashing and somewhat slow for that reason.Case is durable, no dents or scratches notable for a refurbished.WIFI has not been a problem however connecting to my phone the windows app is mostly a tease. For instance it will show some text messages but not up to date and when I send they mostly do not go through. The pictures I take with my phone produce and instant notification in the task manager but when I go to the app it shows a blurry thumbnail and is never available to save or view.
