1.0 out of 5 stars A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
By Harrison Spencer
I was very disappointed with this computer, mainly with the poor quality of the screen. It only looks satisfactory when sitting in front of it and looking straight on. I could not get used to the washed-out look. The backlit keyboard has only one, dim brightness level and cannot be kept on without touching the keys again.I was dissapointed with Lenovo. Amazon stated Free Returns. Lenovo charged $50 when I returned it. Probably some scamy re-stocking charge. If they sell without allowing me to 'test' it out first, they should not charge when I do not like their product and return it.Because of this I will never buy another Lenovo product, and will always urge others not to buy Lenovo.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not an IPS display!
By Bryan B.
I usually love Lenovo Ideapads, but for a modern system, this one is disappointing. The item description clearly states that it has an IPS panel, but the model I got has a TN panel. Besides being horribly outdated technology in general, this is a BAD TN panel as well. Colors are awful with far too much blue, and the Gamma is way off. And all that on top of TN's terrible viewing angles. This technology needs to die and never return. VA, IPS, or OLED are the only panel types that should exist.

5.0 out of 5 stars Huge screen and powerful

Wow, the screen size is huge. I have the smaller version of this laptop and this 17" version dwarfs that. The screen looks vibrant and robust and the speakers are loud and clear. The performance is also a lot faster with no lag. I really love the full sized keyboard, the layout feels comfortable to type on.

great laptop for the price. The 16GB RAM and 512GB ssd provide smooth performance and the 180° hinge is a nice touch. Windows 11 runs well, and the sleek Silver Gray design looks premium. Highly recommend!
