5.0 out of 5 stars I’m impressed
By Carmen Perez
I’ve been using the Legion Pro i7 (RTX + Intel i7 configuration) for a few weeks, playing a variety of modern AAA and multiplayer games — and overall, I’m impressed. Here’s the full breakdown from a gamer’s point of view:What I really likePerformance: This thing is a powerhouse. It handles demanding titles (think open-world, high-settings) without breaking a sweat. When you crank up settings or use high refresh rates, the i7 + RTX combo keeps fps stable and smooth — no noticeable lag even in hectic firefights or big open-world scenes.Display: The screen is . Crisp visuals, vibrant colors, and smooth frame delivery make everything look clean — from fast-paced shooters to cinematic story-games. As a gamer who cares about immersion, that matters a lot.Versatility: It doesn’t feel like a gaming-only machine. I’ve done some lighter tasks, streaming, and even editing-type work (video/audio) and the system handles it like a champ. Perfect if you want one machine for both gaming and “real life.”Build & convenience: Keyboard and overall build feel sturdy and premium. Ports, connectivity and cooling seem well-balanced — you can plug in accessories, external drives or headsets without fuss; fans don’t get unbearably loud unless under heavy load. What you should know / What could be betterBattery life: Don’t expect long unplugged sessions. Like most powerful gaming laptops, the battery drains fast if you actually game on battery power. For anything heavy (games, rendering), you’ll want to be plugged in.Portability vs performance tradeoff: It’s not a super-light laptop. If you move the machine around a lot (school, cafés, trips) you’ll feel the weight. It’s better suited as a “desktop replacement” rather than a daily-carry laptop.Power draw and heat (if pushed hard): With high settings and long sessions, expect the fans to come alive and the machine to get warm. It’s manageable, but noticeable — plan accordingly if you game on your lap or in hot environments

1.0 out of 5 stars 2 Defected units. Boot up issue
By Golani 23
Laptop is really beautiful and quite amazing with the amount of tech its got. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of light usage it stopped turning on. It would attempt to boot up and had a full charge as displayed by the LED but the screen would not start. I tried trouble shooting and nothing would get it to restart. I returned it, waiting on my refund and anticipate buying the same one again, hoping i just got a defective unit. Havent downloaded any games on it but it was super sharp and snappy. Praying the next one works, otherwise having a broken system for the price is not worth it.UPDATE 12/20/2025I recieved the new one and its even worse than before. It worked well for about 2 days, then began with the boot up issues again. It turned on and arrived to the windows log in page then ramped ip fan speeds and turned off. Eventually the screen just stopped turning on and only the keyboard and power button would light up, no picture.I hate writing bad reviews and this really is a beautiful laptop, I truly wished it would work out but its a piece of garbage if it cant work properly out of the box on 2 units. Does not work right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good So Far!

I heard mixed reviews on this. I took a chance and it's only been 2 weeks, but so far so good. The Alienware software takes about 10 to 20 seconds to load when first opening it. after that 5-10. The back end got flack for being too big. But Who is really carrying around a 16 inch gaming laptop. Keys feel great. RGB is good. Keys are clear and not blinding like most RGB backlits. Design is good imo. feels premium. Cam is decent. Touch pad is smooth. Display is nice, all text is clear and colors are good. I heard many people complaining about the brightness levels. But in a dark room I actually turn the brightness down. And in my home with normal outdoor light coming in, I have no issues with the brightness. 2 usb 2 usb c, this is the only downside. in my opinion. I wish there was one more. I do like there are no cables coming from the sides. All ports in back. Cleaner desk look. will update if I have any issues.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy this laptop!!!

This laptop is a GIANT waste of money. It didn't last for 2 weeks before the system stopped charging itself and shut down. I had to return it without being able to remove my data. I am VERY disappointed with this product and purchase.
