This is a wonderful little laptop. 8 GBs of Ram is more than enough to play some of the more recent games, and its quite speedy with loading too. Although the fan did run rather loudly on more higher quality games and I did worry about overheating, but that can be fixed with a cooling pad and proper ventilation. Light as a feather too.However, I am afraid I must shave off a star for one reason: the storage capacity is beyond pitiful, and can only store a few games at a time, and for an avid gamer such as myself, that means a lot of shuffling your gaming library around. Unless of course you know a place and have the budget to upgrade the storage capacity, or the skills and tools to upgrade it yourself.Overall, I'd give this a 4.5 out of 5, but Amazon doesn't let you do partial stars, so it'll have to be 4 out of five.Pros: Very fast, great performance, light as a feather, excellent for casual gaming.Cons: Demanding games can make the fan run loud and cause it to run warm, storage capacity is miniscule.Final Results: The Lenovo LOQ Essential is a solid and affordable option for those newly ascended to the PC Master Race. However, would suggest getting a cooling pad and some kind of storage expansion or external hard drive along with it.

Meets expectations, excellent laptop for every day use. The only thing I'd consider is upgrading the RAM and storage if it gets cheaper. Good screen, doesn't get noisy usually. The weight is okay, the setup was fine, only took a while, but that's notmal, I didn't notice much heat, but the laptop is good looking and well rounded. For this price tag, I definitely recommend it!
