5.0 out of 5 stars perfect gaming laptop for kids
By Sam Wong
The media could not be loaded. I got this laptop for my son playing minecrafts. Don't judge me lol. This is my first time to get Ryzen processor and I am pretty impressed. It performs just as well as its counterpart. This is an 8-core CPU + 16GB RAM which provides smooth gaming experience. In my video, you can see my son playing minecraft and it's very smooth. With the 512GB NVMe SSD, it loads very fast. The Vega 8 GPU video card provides decent graphic performance. Battery life is very good. It dropped few percents after an hour usage so it's no doubt it will last whole day of usage w/o charging. 16 inch screen is perfect for gaming and browsing web. Even though it's 16 inch, it does feel super heavy like the other brands. The only con to me is resolution which is only 1920x1080. I personally like it larger but no son doesn't care at all. Overall I think it's a perfect laptop for school and casual gaming.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful, fast, and perfect for gaming or work!
By Kenny Deck
I am very happy with this gaming laptop. The 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD combination ensures that everything runs fast and smoothly. Even while using multiple apps at the same time or during stretches of heavy gaming, there is no lag at all. The 16.1 inch screen is plenty big enough for me to enjoy games, movies, and even video editing. The performance of Windows 11 exceeded my expectations. The quality is very good, and it does not overheat even after long periods of play. It boots up quickly and my games load up fast.

great laptop for the price. The 16GB RAM and 512GB ssd provide smooth performance and the 180° hinge is a nice touch. Windows 11 runs well, and the sleek Silver Gray design looks premium. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rocky setup, but end result was worth it

The media could not be loaded. When I first booted this laptop up, it presented me with a "defaultuser0" account that I didn't know the password to. I completely wiped this laptop's SSD and reinstalled Windows to play it safe, and after that it worked like a charm with regular setup. I did have to find drivers online for the touchpad afterward though.Getting at the SSD to do all of this was thankfully pretty easy, since the bottom panel was removable with a few tiny screws. I noticed that there is only a single slot for RAM in there, but it isn't soldered on so I was able to upgrade it with a 16 gig stick at least. The N97 is no gaming powerhouse but it plays some older titles still, and the laptop works great for work like emails and browsing the internet.
