HP Laptop 17-CP1035CL 17.3" HD Plus Touchscreen Display, AMD Ryzen 5 5625U, AMD Radeon Graphics, 12 GB DDR4 RAM, 1 TB HDD Storage, Windows 11 Home (Renewed)

This is very very slow to boot up.it takes 3 to 5 minutes to boot up. I have checked to make sure fast start up was on. It has had me set microsoft edge up 3 different times. I hope things will get better. I am still trying different things.

Just bought this computer after extensive researching which combination of parts fit my budget. The Ryzen 5 5625U is plenty powerful, and so is the 12G of DDR4. I noticed that this thing was booting SLOW (And since I had a driver issue with windows and ended up reinstalling windows, it took 3 dozen years) It then occurred to me to check the drive and sure enough, this has a 1TB HDD (Old drives with spinning platters in them. Super slow. About 75-100 Megabyte/s transfer speed) I just purchased a 512Gig NVMe for about $35 that I expect to fix the problem. (Muy rapido. ~3,500 Megabyte/s transfer speed) I will edit my review after I install the new drive and reinstall windows. Hopefully someone else who bought/buys this laptop sees my review and it helps them too.
