I feel badly leaving such a negative review, but this computer did not meet my expectations in the very least. The listing showed it as having a value of $1399 but was on sale for about $400. What a deal, I thought. But the first time I booted it up, it shut down unexpectedly. I thought it might just be a one-off—but unfortunately, over the next week of my use of the computer, crashes occurred with frequency. As a freelance writer, I only needed this computer for writing (in Word) and some light internet browsing, and I assumed that pretty much all computers made these days, even the simpler, less expensive ones, could handle that kind of use—but this machine proved me wrong. Several times, I’d be working in a document, only for the screen to go black for no reason, and my work would be lost. This just wasn’t something I could deal with, so I returned the computer.To its credit, the seller was polite and pleasant to work with. They received my return and issued a refund, minus a small restocking fee.It’s possible that I got a lemon and other machines are functioning and reliable—I hope so! But for me, this was a case of “too good to be true.”I’ve since purchased a computer from Costco, and it has been running smoothly with no issues.

I purchased this laptop for school. So far it has been great. Easy to use and pretty straight forward. I am ONLY using it for school, which is entirely online, so I can’t really speak to any other functions of it, but it’s perfect for my needs. And really cute. I’ve not had an issue with the battery, but my ancient dinosaur of a last laptop had to be plugged in 24/7, so the fact that I get any off charging battery time is mind blowing to me.
