I just bought this a few days ago. After spending 2 days getting it set up and updated, I went to HP and registered the laptop. To my surprise, it said the warrantee was expired. I did a chat with HP and they said the seller had changed the setup on the computer and it was not eligible for warrantee. If I hadn't spent so much time setting it up, I would send it back to Amazon, but it is working fine and I will just take a chance that it doesn't have any problems.
