Met expectations for what I needed. It runs fast (16gb of memory at minimum is a must!), the battery health is excellent, the condition came very good, just the bottom was scratched up but who cares. The one little quirk is when I shut it, it doesn’t close all the way and I think the screen shuts off but it doesn’t stay asleep so if it’s unplugged while shut the battery was was at like 10% so something was obviously on. But it’s fine I just power it off and back on, it boots up quick. Screen quality is great. If you’re wanting to use the webcam (which I use daily) I recommend buying a separate HD cam to use with it. The camera on this one is def not HD since that what I’m used to using but it was fine I already had my extra webcam. Overall im happy for the price, I got what I needed.

It is not possible to give a real rating to this device. It looks like five stars are appropriate but there is a real problem that is not easy to overcome. To me it looks like the end of Microsoft because you cannot even start to use this item without an internet connection. While I do use internet, internet is not really the main purpose that I bought it. The internet here is a hardline anyway, not straight forward to get into, and I may find a way to get into it, but probably I will have to make a trip to our Senior Center and do the initializing there and then hope that Microsoft will allow the machine to be actually used offline. They are moving too far into control of equipment owned by others and I am beginning to fear the advent of Windows 12 if it ever does come. Anyway the hardware seems to be very good with a number of types of connectors but I really have to solve the internet problem before I can tell you if the unit is useful to me or not.
