Very nice laptop,Easy to setup with fresh install of Windows providedListed as EXCELLENT CONDITION defined by Amazon as battery should be at least 80% capacity - however BATTERY WAS DEAD, laptop would not power up unless plugged in and shuts down soon as unplugged.Battery would not charge. BIOS diagnostic indicates battery needs replacement - this is misrepresentation of the otherwise very nice product, which caused me to return and purchase different model with working battery.Overall great value for the money, if not counting some unnecessary shipping back and forth (covered by Amazon) and still waiting for the refund to be processed taking already over a week.

This is a honest and unpaid review.I purchased the Latitude 5430 with the i5-1245u, 16gb ram and 512 hard drive.The computer arrived in excellent condition so I set up and logged into windows.A few minutes later windows defender popped up with threats on the system. Possible virus and malware, so I wiped the system and reinstalled windows 11.Now everything runs great, windows is activated, and the the system is what was advertised.I will note that I do feel that this is a professionally refurbished system, with that being said I did notice that there is a skin on the top which was applied perfect. And the bottom of the computer was re-painted to match the factory color, it looks and feels perfect. The only reason I could tell that it was painted is because the screws and the rubber pads under the computer are painted.There is a Microsoft authorized refurbished sticker on the bottom along with new identification stickers. This even came with the genuine (used) dell charger.I looked up the service tag number and it does match the system.But it shows 256gb hard drive.This one has a 512gb drive so if I were to guess the previous company removed the drive for security reasons.And with that being said the refurbisher likely has a windows image that's used on all new drives for the eaise of setup. This image likely has something wrong with it, which would explain the few reviews that said something about a virus.I'm still giving a 5 star, because the safe way is to always wipe any used pre-owned systems and start fresh, so this was no big deal for me.
