Unfortunately, after receiving the laptop (dell latitude 5420 renewed-excellent condition,) upon booting Win 11 the system showed a bios hardware error: fan malfunction. I looked at the system logs and the same error message occurred multiple times last year 9/25,, presumably when the laptop was last updated as renewed.So a hot as H laptop without an effective cooling mechanism is not a good buy.The refund process has taken nearly 2 weeks as of the date of this review and I haven’t yet been credited the refund.Edit:As a student needing a quick laptop this has been a frustration to resolve.Refund process taking long, too.Not a good experience.I’ll remember this long return process for high value electronics takes long and will buy elsewhere besides Amazon. This return to their warehouse is a nightmare.
