Laptop is great. I had some issues when I first turned it on, because the screen display was only about 11.5". A blue rectangle with white letters, surrounded by a dark mark of 2" was the display, instead of the 14" diagonal displayed.I contacted ASUS support service and I was told that the display size was normal; and, after the setup was completed, the display would be the correct one. Indeed, it was as they said.I am writing this, just in case someone else runs into the same situation. I wanted to return the item at first, but there was nothing wrong with the laptop.Too bad that the keyboard is not backlighted.

This is my go to tablet for work. Set up was easy. Many positives for the price-power, speed, memory, and storage. One thing that took to get used to was that the camera is on the bottom instead of the top. It is a 2-1 tablet so I didn't realized that you had to put it in the presentation position so that the camera is on the top so that when you do zoom meetings the camera is looking at your face and not your chest. There probably is a way to change this in settings, but have not explored it enough as I have only had the ASUS for two weeks. So far so good. One user did mention the lack of a backlit keyboard which would be nice, but not necessary for me.

The media could not be loaded. When I first booted this laptop up, it presented me with a "defaultuser0" account that I didn't know the password to. I completely wiped this laptop's SSD and reinstalled Windows to play it safe, and after that it worked like a charm with regular setup. I did have to find drivers online for the touchpad afterward though.Getting at the SSD to do all of this was thankfully pretty easy, since the bottom panel was removable with a few tiny screws. I noticed that there is only a single slot for RAM in there, but it isn't soldered on so I was able to upgrade it with a 16 gig stick at least. The N97 is no gaming powerhouse but it plays some older titles still, and the laptop works great for work like emails and browsing the internet.
