This laptop is configured with a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. The bullet point listing 1TB appears to be a discrepancy; the primary specifications in the title, description, and specs all confirm a 2TB capacity.

How much power does the NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU use, and what is its boost clock?

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 in this laptop has a Total Graphics Power (TGP) of 105W. This consists of an 85W base power with 20W of Dynamic Boost. Its ROG Boost clock speed goes up to 2105MHz.

Is the 16GB of RAM upgradeable, or is it soldered to the motherboard?

The RAM is not user-upgradeable. It consists of 16GB (2x8GB) of LPDDR5X-7467 memory that is onboard (soldered) to the system's motherboard.

What are the actual dimensions and weight of the laptop? The provided details list conflicting numbers.

According to the product details, the dimensions are 13.94 x 9.69 x 0.65 inches and the weight is 4.1 pounds. The 16 x 11 x 0.88 inches and 4.3 lbs figures in the general description are likely from a different source or specification sheet for the model line.

Why does the listing say the manufacturer's box is opened? Does this affect the warranty?

The box is opened by the seller to perform upgrades (like installing the 2TB SSD) to meet the advertised specifications. The laptop includes a full 1-Year ASUS USA Warranty, which remains valid.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good So Far!

I heard mixed reviews on this. I took a chance and it's only been 2 weeks, but so far so good. The Alienware software takes about 10 to 20 seconds to load when first opening it. after that 5-10. The back end got flack for being too big. But Who is really carrying around a 16 inch gaming laptop. Keys feel great. RGB is good. Keys are clear and not blinding like most RGB backlits. Design is good imo. feels premium. Cam is decent. Touch pad is smooth. Display is nice, all text is clear and colors are good. I heard many people complaining about the brightness levels. But in a dark room I actually turn the brightness down. And in my home with normal outdoor light coming in, I have no issues with the brightness. 2 usb 2 usb c, this is the only downside. in my opinion. I wish there was one more. I do like there are no cables coming from the sides. All ports in back. Cleaner desk look. will update if I have any issues.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy this laptop!!!

This laptop is a GIANT waste of money. It didn't last for 2 weeks before the system stopped charging itself and shut down. I had to return it without being able to remove my data. I am VERY disappointed with this product and purchase.
