First off this laptop isn't "new" ,second the "extras" you're getting :that 500 GB external hard drive is a "no name" made in China from 2016 (the enclosure opens easily that's how I know the date) and same for the mouse that comes with it .Third and last ,the listing didn't imply it but no backlit keyboard for such a massive keyboard/screen .If it wasn't for the Amazon card financing (0% for 12 months) I wouldn't have gone with this one over other online retailers out there selling a comparable one cheaper .

The 2025 ASUS VIVOBOOK 40GB ram 2TB ssd 17.3" laptop Is packed with extras 500MB external drive wireless mouse and pad USB C hub and lifetime Office 2024. There are no issues loading software if you read the sticker on the box and follow the directions on how to navigate to get the MSOffice subscription. The price is less than half of what I was looking for with competitors.
