1.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Throw Your Money Away
By Bilaal Vasser
I bought this thing in August of 2024, and received it on September of 2024. It is in perfect physical condition. As a matter of fact, it is in the same physical condition from when I first purchased it. Regardless, in June of 2025 it no longer turns back on.I've tried separate chargers and checked to see if the battery port was faulty. All appeared to be fine, except I purchased some shoddy equipment from a shaister company.I have reached out to the seller and requested for a replacement, but that was weeks ago and I still hadn't heard anything. I implore you. Do not purchase anything from this seller. You would be better off lighting your money on fire. At least then you could use the heat from the fire to warm your soul.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent condition
By Haley Danielle
The media could not be loaded. It arrived on time and came in great condition, no dents/scratches, and seems to work perfectly. It was packaged in a bubble wrap that kept it secured and had plastic covering it to prevent scratching. Very pleased with the product and got it at a great price!Edit: After having the laptop for only a couple days the charger was not working properly (would connect but not charge) so I contacted support and the seller sent me a replacement within a few days!

The native resolution is 1440 x 900 pixels, as stated in the bullet points. The product details also list a maximum screen resolution of 1440x900. The higher 2560 x 1600 figure in the specs appears to be an error for this specific model.
What version of macOS does this renewed laptop come with?
It comes with macOS 10.12 Sierra pre-installed, as specified in the product details.
Is the storage upgradeable on this model?
No, the 128GB SSD is PCIe-based flash storage soldered onto the logic board, making it non-upgradeable by the user.
What is the specific processor model and speed?
It uses a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-5250U processor from the Broadwell generation, featuring two cores.
How does the 'Renewed' condition affect what I receive?
This is a professionally inspected and tested used Apple laptop. It is the specific MJVE2LL/A model from 2018, restored to full functionality and sold at a reduced price compared to new.

great laptop for the price. The 16GB RAM and 512GB ssd provide smooth performance and the 180° hinge is a nice touch. Windows 11 runs well, and the sleek Silver Gray design looks premium. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rocky setup, but end result was worth it

The media could not be loaded. When I first booted this laptop up, it presented me with a "defaultuser0" account that I didn't know the password to. I completely wiped this laptop's SSD and reinstalled Windows to play it safe, and after that it worked like a charm with regular setup. I did have to find drivers online for the touchpad afterward though.Getting at the SSD to do all of this was thankfully pretty easy, since the bottom panel was removable with a few tiny screws. I noticed that there is only a single slot for RAM in there, but it isn't soldered on so I was able to upgrade it with a 16 gig stick at least. The N97 is no gaming powerhouse but it plays some older titles still, and the laptop works great for work like emails and browsing the internet.
