4.0 out of 5 stars Good value but minor damage to the screen
By Nikki
The renewed MacBook was a reasonable price. It is fast with the M3 chip and runs the latest macOS 15.0.1. It would be a good MacBook if it weren’t for the discolored spot on the screen.I didn’t notice it initially until I restarted it when it showed in plain background color. The spot appeared discolored dimly compared to the rest of the background. It looked like someone had stabbed the screen to have caused the damage to the LCD screen. It is not noticeable if you ignore it. However, it doesn’t display the pixels correctly. I had to return it and get a new one.It is a hit-or-miss for a renewed laptop. It is no big deal if it is a scratch on the outside. But when it is on the screen, it affects the display, which can make a difference in the graphic display.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the speed and battery life, & the lack of fan or vents
By Himself
Good, rugged, light laptop that runs fast enough for most things, and without the cooling fan, you might experience CPU throttling under high workloads, but We've not really experienced this problem. I got this for my son, and he's not playing the highest framerate games, & it's plenty powerful for Roblox. Otherwise, the word processing, web browsing & video watching is no problem for the passive cooling. The long lasting battery is great, too. A laptop without vent holes means dust isn't getting in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the actual screen resolution of this MacBook Air?
The display has a native resolution of 2560 x 1664 pixels, as noted in the bullet points and product details. The '1920 x 1080' listed under specs appears to be an error or a default placeholder.
What does 'Renewed' mean for this specific MacBook Air?
This is a professionally inspected and tested pre-owned Apple laptop from 2024, restored to full functionality and sold with a limited warranty, as indicated by its categorization in 'Renewed Laptops' and 'Renewed Computers & Accessories'.
How many Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports does this model have?
It has two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports, as specified in the bullet points. The product details section listing USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports is likely inaccurate for this modern Apple laptop.
Is the 8GB of RAM upgradeable on this MacBook Air?
No, the 8GB of Unified Memory is soldered onto the Apple M3 chip and is not user-upgradeable after purchase.
What is included in the box, and does it come with a charger?
Based on the product details listing '1 12V batteries required,' it indicates the laptop includes a power adapter (charger). The exact contents of a renewed product can vary, so checking the seller's specific listing for details is recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great computer! Speedy and sleek

This laptop is quick to set up and use, and it works seamlessly without lagging on games or apps that use lots of memory such as the Harry Potter game I play from steam. I am really satisfied with this purchase even though I was hesitant at first to buy a “no name brand” laptop

1.0 out of 5 stars Most likely came with malware

It worked decent for a little bit, its a low end laptop that will run basic games at minimum settings, however something is wrong with windows because it fully died within 2 weeks. Likely due to malware that came with the laptop and it wont go past bios now. First and last time buying a no name electronic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great big screen laptop

I have been using this laptop for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with it. It’s fast, lightweight, and perfect for everyday tasks like browsing, emailing, and working on documents. The screen is clear and bright, and the battery lasts a long time. I also love how quickly it starts up , It’s a great laptop and works well for both work and personal use. Highly recommendWhy did you pick this product vs others?:Because of the big screen , very light wight and fast

4.0 out of 5 stars Review is for 18..5 inch model; not 15.7; good value for 18.5 model

I purchased two 18.5 inch model AX18, and it looks like my review is tied to a 15.6 inch model instead, as though perhaps I purchased two at a lower price point than intended? The value was outstanding for $400..00. My review is for the 18.5 inch model which is 11 x 17 by about 1 inches in total size. The huge trackpad gets in the way a bit, but it does work and is sensitive. It can be disabled. The very large screen is beautiful and true to color, and great for movies, albeit with weak and tinny speakers. The camera is really grainy, you will use your Logitec one that is much better in low light. The case is kind of twisty plastic, and keyboard has a kind of flimsy feel to it. However, it functions just fine.It is really quite fast. I am playing around with typical office apps, big spreadsheets and so far looks great. I will eventually attempt image and video editing. hoping this keeps up. A slightly rickety, fast, wonderful display old fashioned computer. I do find myself absently touching the screen as I’ve been so “touch screen” for the past few months, and no this is not a touch screen laptop. The power supply and plug are annoyingly “non standard”. 19V 2.1a output, the sorta cheapie 57 inch power cord and odd connector are a bit worrisome.
