Frequently Asked Questions
What is the refresh rate of the display and what does that mean for gaming?
The display has a 480Hz refresh rate, which means it can update the image up to 480 times per second. This results in exceptionally smooth motion in fast-paced games, reducing blur and providing a competitive edge in titles like first-person shooters.
How does the 64GB of DDR5 RAM benefit me compared to a laptop with less memory?
With 64GB of DDR5 RAM, you can run multiple demanding applications simultaneously—such as a game, streaming software, and web browsers—without performance degradation. It's also future-proof for upcoming games and creative software that may require more memory.
Is the 4TB of storage a single drive, and what type is it?
The laptop is configured with a total of 4TB of PCIe SSD storage. Based on the specification listing a single storage capacity, it is typically a single drive, offering fast load times for games and files and substantial space for a large game library.
What specific features do the Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6E connections provide?
Thunderbolt 4 allows for high-speed data transfer (up to 40Gbps), connecting to multiple 4K displays, and fast charging through a single port. WiFi 6E offers faster, more reliable wireless connections on both the standard 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands as well as the new 6GHz band, reducing interference.
Given the high-end CPU and GPU, why does this configuration have a 1920x1080 screen resolution?
The 1920x1080 (FHD) resolution pairs with the 480Hz refresh rate to prioritize extremely high frame rates for competitive gaming. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti can consistently deliver very high fps at this resolution, fully utilizing the fast display for smooth gameplay.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good So Far!
I heard mixed reviews on this. I took a chance and it's only been 2 weeks, but so far so good. The Alienware software takes about 10 to 20 seconds to load when first opening it. after that 5-10. The back end got flack for being too big. But Who is really carrying around a 16 inch gaming laptop. Keys feel great. RGB is good. Keys are clear and not blinding like most RGB backlits. Design is good imo. feels premium. Cam is decent. Touch pad is smooth. Display is nice, all text is clear and colors are good. I heard many people complaining about the brightness levels. But in a dark room I actually turn the brightness down. And in my home with normal outdoor light coming in, I have no issues with the brightness. 2 usb 2 usb c, this is the only downside. in my opinion. I wish there was one more. I do like there are no cables coming from the sides. All ports in back. Cleaner desk look. will update if I have any issues.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy this laptop!!!
This laptop is a GIANT waste of money. It didn't last for 2 weeks before the system stopped charging itself and shut down. I had to return it without being able to remove my data. I am VERY disappointed with this product and purchase.
