I got this for my wife to play Sims 4 and, one month in, it's been working out perfectly. I had a scare at first when I plugged it in and tried to turn it on but it did nothing and showed no sign it was charging. But I eventually realized you have to really snap the connector into the laptop. Since then, no problems.

It's a good laptop. But there is a problem with the NitroSense application. After having it for four months it has started giving me a black screen and un-responsive to anything when ever I play Mine Craft. Alot forums have atested it to the NitroSense application. There does not seem to be a work around outside of un-installing this application. But in doing so how is one to control the CPU fan and other things that it contols? So, no, it is not good for gaming.
