For a $400ish refurbished laptop, it’s actually really good. Fast, simple, reliable. I like it a lot. I only have 2 issues with it (maybe 3)First, the bloatware. Too much garbage apps pre-installed. I should knock down a star just for that, but I know it’s not the sellers fault, it’s Acer.Second, the mousepad. It feels weird to use and the dpi is really low. The cursor seemingly has a mind of its own. Very bad mousepad, I recommend using a small wireless/portable mouse with this laptop.Finally, the location of the vents. Why is there one in the front pointing toward the screen? Very baffling design. Unless that’s an intake vent, but even then it’s still confusing. Just an overall odd design choice.But other than those 3 things, the laptop is quite good. The Ryzen 7, 8-core, 4ghz speed is really nice on a budget laptop like this, perfect for work. Just what I needed. Might buy another one actually.

This laptop is a nice machine. I was able to install Linux (Arch Linux) on it right away without any issues, and everything works as expected. I’ve added all my tools, and it handles them perfectly. The battery life is good—I’ve used it for several hours without needing to recharge. Overall, it’s a reliable and powerful laptop that’s been a great addition to my setup.
