The laptop is as advertised, and so far, everything seems fine. I was a little surprised to note in the documentation that, though advertised as "Acer 2025 Laptop", it was actually manufactured in 2022. I don't actually know if this is unusual or a regular situation that people generally don't know about.

It's really at 2022-2023 at best. Acer doesn't even make an Aspire 5 or 7 series anymore. Why? I don't know, because for the past ten years it's what I've used. About 48 hours after I initially booted it up, the hard drive blue screened and I could no longer get it to boot, even with a bootable usb. Windows appears to be having compatibility issues with nVme drives since the fall update. If you do get one, I recommend manually updating the drivers for the SSD before Microsoft forces an update on your system. Not sure if it would've helped my situation but after four days of fussing with it, I returned it and the seller was cooperative enough to take it back without hassle, given the situation.
