When I purchased this laptop, the product description said that it had 16GB of video RAM and the laptop was labeled as a gaming laptop. When I received it, however, I noticed that this was incorrect. The graphics co-processor shares in the system RAM - you can check this by looking up "AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 1.90GHz" - which is 16GB. It does not have 16GB of its own. I messaged the seller to confirm, since Windows reported a generic rather than specific graphics chip in the system settings, thinking that maybe I needed an updated driver. They responded quickly at first telling me they'd check with their engineers. I waited 5 more days with no further contact, then packed up the laptop for return to Amazon.This is a decent laptop for everyday use, but if you're looking for something to run interesting video games, you'll be misled by the product specs. It shows up in Amazon computer searches that make it appear to be a super deal for a gaming machine - but it is not.

I originally bought this laptop so avoid having to pay higher prices that just kept rising to get my previous Maingear laptop repaired after the charger overheated and melted my charger port. I got the advantage of securing it for a discounted price. I have owned this laptop for five months now and I absolutely love it. The bottom does not heat up as heat is discharged through the top, it shuts itself down everytime I keep it unused and occupied for a long time which I think helps keep it from overloading from remaining on, and it is extremely light and easy to carry. The storage may be small but I have external storages for that. All my previous games and files from my last laptop work perfectly as they did on the other one, and I have no glitches or bugs or even horrid long lags. If I have only one small complaint its that everytime you press caps lock, a big box appears which can cover what you are currently writing on something. But other than that, it is perfect for gaming and just entertainment in general. I highly recommend this if you don't want to buy a laptop worth thousands
